We are committed to conducting business in an environmentally responsible manner and recognise the need to continually improve and reduce any adverse effects to the environment. We are continually identifying and aiming to use more materials and processes which reduce the risk of pollution.
FORMULATION, PRODUCTION & INGREDIENTS
INGREDIENTS
We are vegan and cruelty free.
All our ingredients are responsibly sourced. We do not use wild plants or endangered species.
We do not use:
— Synthetic fragrances or colours,
— Mineral oil, petrolatum, paraffin
— Silicones,
— Organic and chemical sunscreen
— BHT, BHA, EDTA, TEA
— Sulphates
— Phthalates
— Plastic microbeads, acrylate copolymers and cross-polymers
— Parabens and formaldehyde donors,
— PEGs, glycols and ethoxylated ingredients
— Nano materials.
PACKAGING
Primary packaging
We do not use double wall components, such as caps to allow the tube to stand or jars with inner jar or system with multiple plastic layers. It allows us to use less plastic and be more easily recyclable.
Good Skin Trio & Mini Set
Our tubes are made of LDPE, HDPE and LLDPE, they are 100% recyclable. The caps are made of PP and are 100% recyclable.
To recycle, unscrew the cap, cut the tube in half and clean.
Night Switches
The glass bottles are 100% recyclable. The pumps are made of PP and are 100% recyclable.
To recycle, unscrew the pump, remove the label and clean.
Good Skin Shaker
The glass bottles are 100% recyclable. The pumps are made of PPE
To recycle, unscrew the pump, remove the label and clean.
Soft Clay Rubber
Our jar and lid are made of PP and are 100% recyclable.
To recycle, unscrew the lid and clean.
Secondary packaging
Cartons
All our cartons are FSC approved. FSC Board ensures protection of the forests, the environment, people and wildlife that depend upon them. It also gives options for maximising the use of post-consumer recycled paper. From December 2019 we stopped using any laminated cartons to further facilitate recycling.
Inks and Varnishes
We only use vegetable/soya based inks. Water based coatings are soluble, cleaner and easily recycled.
Sending to you, our retailers, press and influencers
We do not use any plastic wrapping such as bubble wrap. We do not work with retailers who impose polybags.
